On the night of December 15th, Tabacos Marasca, represented by its President Mr. Moacir Marasca, was in Porto Alegre receiving, from the hands of the President of ADVB/RS, Mr. Rafael Biedermann Mariante, the RS EXPORTATION AWARD in the category Outstanding Smoking Sector.
The RS Export Award is considered the largest event in the sector in the country, and distinguishes companies that obtained the best results in the international market. The award, which is in its 48th edition, awarded more than 50 companies from the state of Rio Grande do Sul at the time, outstanding in nine categories operating in foreign trade. This year, due to the pandemic, the event took place at the ADVB/RS park in Porto Alegre, in an outdoor event so that all protocols required to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus were respected, with the public restricted to 70 people. The event had simultaneous transmission to cover regional, national and international audiences.
The RS Export Award Council is formed by leaders from 16 institutions that have some support or support relationship for the state of Rio Grande do Sul’s exports, including: Apex-Brasil, ADVB/RS, Badesul, Banco do Brasil, Banrisul, BRDE, FARSUL, Federasul , Fecomércio-RS, FIERGS, Hub Transforma RS, LIDE RS, Port of Rio Grande, Secretary of Economic Development and Tourism of RS – SEDETUR, Sebrae RS and UFRGS.
The President of Tabacos Marasca, Mr. Moacir highlights the importance of this recognition for the company, especially in a year with so many adversities, and that this award brings enormous satisfaction not only to the board but to all employees. For the next few years, it seeks sustainable growth, envisaging an increase in sales volume to active customers, as well as the gradual entry of new customers, maintaining the same base of products already offered today, but always emphasizing the commitment to the responsibility policy social and consolidation in its segment.
